Established Ocean Tankers (Pte) Ltd.
1985
Contracted the first newbuilding the 4,135 DWT MT Ocean Princess.
1990's
First phase of fleet expansion: Acquired 7 Product Tankers and 7 VLCCs, and contracted 19 new General Purpose Tankers.
2000's
Second phase of fleet expansion and rejuvenation.
2002
Contracted 24 new 50,000 DWT double-hull Medium Range Tankers.
2004
Contracted 12 new 108,000 DWT doublehull Aframaxes.
2006
Contracted 12 new double-hull CSR-compliant VLCCs.
2007
Acquired 5 double-hull Panamaxes.
2008
Christened the 318,000 DWT Hua San, the world’s first and largest CSR-compliant double-hull VLCC.
2009
Awarded the Singapore International Maritime Awards – Shipowner of the Year.
2009
Christened the 318,000 DWT double hull Jiu Hua San, Ocean Tanker's fourth VLCC built to CSR rules.
Today
A leading tanker company in Singapore owning and operating an extensive fleet of 100 vessels and counting.
